The default range is set from 25% to 85%, but it is customizable to suit your needs. Additionally, it provides a clear battery indicator on your device's status bar. Notably, the app is completely free and contains no advertisements, with the exception of the optional Pro-Features package available through an In-App Purchase.

Lithium-ion batteries tend to age faster when kept below 30% or above 80% charge levels. To counteract this, this application aids in automatically managing these optimal levels, enhancing the efficiency of your device's battery use.

Note: This app functions as a tool to assist you in optimizing the charging process, rather than directly extending the battery's life. It helps you interrupt charging at an optimal level, promoting better battery health.

Battery Life Extender notifies you audibly and visibly, including optional colored blinking LED alerts (if supported), when the battery reaches user-defined low and high levels. This feature allows you to conveniently plug or unplug your device. The default range of 25% to 85% strikes a balance between effective battery care and device usability.

Users can establish a silent period during which notification sounds are disabled, although visual alerts via symbols and LEDs will still be displayed upon reaching specified limits.

The app includes a convenient Battery Monitor shortcut, located at the top right corner, which indicates the current charge level and provides easy access to the system's battery usage monitor.

The log feature records each charging cycle, including time stamp, battery level, and cycle duration. This comprehensive data assists users in monitoring charging times and battery usage patterns efficiently. Charging periods below five minutes are automatically disregarded in the log.
